HLTAID009 – Provide CPR
This course prepares participants to recognise and respond to a casualty requiring CPR. The training covers both the theory and practical aspects of CPR. Cost: $65pp
HLTAID011 – First Aid includes Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This training provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty. Amongst the topics covered are CPR, cardiac emergencies, burns, envenomation, fractures and dislocations, head injuries, legal aspects, poisoning, medical emergencies such as diabetes, seizures and stroke, respiratory emergencies such as asthma and anaphylaxis, shock, temperature extremes, and wounds and bleeding. Cost: $145pp
HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting
This training covers the above units and further information relating to normal health values for children and infants, differences in anatomy compared to adults, febrile convulsions, meningococcal infection, pain assessment and management, and responsiveness assessment. Cost: $165pp
